报告摘要:In this talk, we establish that the free (universal) extensions of regular or chiral d-polytopes whose automorphism group is a finite or infinite 2-group, is a regular or chiral (d + 1)-polytope, respectively, whose automorphism group is an infinite 2-group. A similar result also holds for the universal alternating semiregular (d + 1)-polytope with facets given by a compatible pair of regular d-polytopes P and Q with finite or infinite 2-groups.
报告人简介:Egon Schulte,美国Northeastern University教授,Egon教授是多面体方面国际顶尖专家。截止2024年初共发表高水平科研文章97篇,其中多数发表在相关领域顶级期刊上,如组合领域顶级刊物JCTA上6篇,离散几何顶级期刊DCG上8篇,几何领域顶级期刊Adv. Geom两篇等,另外发表在著名综合类刊物Trans. Amer. Math. Soc.上4篇,Proc. London Math. Soc.上2篇,Adv. Math.上4篇。Egon教授在多个方向上获得了杰出成果,如凸多面体,离散几何,群论等。
