报告题目：SYMMETRIC POLYTOPES WHOSE AUTOMORPHISM GROUPS ARE 2-GROUP（1）

 报告摘要：In this talk, we establish that the free (universal) extensions of regular or chiral d-polytopes whose automorphism group is a finite or infinite 2-group, is a regular or chiral (d + 1)-polytope, respectively, whose automorphism group is an infinite 2-group. A similar result also holds for the universal alternating semiregular (d + 1)-polytope with facets given by a compatible pair of regular d-polytopes P and Q with finite or infinite 2-groups.

 报告人简介：Egon Schulte，美国Northeastern University教授，Egon教授是多面体方面国际顶尖专家。截止2024年初共发表高水平科研文章97篇，其中多数发表在相关领域顶级期刊上，如组合领域顶级刊物JCTA上6篇，离散几何顶级期刊DCG上8篇，几何领域顶级期刊Adv. Geom两篇等，另外发表在著名综合类刊物Trans. Amer. Math. Soc.上4篇，Proc. London Math. Soc.上2篇，Adv. Math.上4篇。Egon教授在多个方向上获得了杰出成果，如凸多面体，离散几何，群论等。
